Language Day observed at BUBT

Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) observed International Mother Language Day with traditional Provatferi (Procession in the Morning), Tribute at the BUBT’s Shahid Minar and a discussion on February 21, 2020.

Prominent History Professor Dr. Syed Anwar Hossain was present as the Chief Guest. He said in his speech that the Spirit of Ekushey is the spirit of indomitability. If we do not learn from the history, this observation would be meaningless.

Professor Md. Abu Saleh, Vice Chancellor, BUBT delivered a presentation on language movement as the chair of the session. Other discussants were Professor Syed Anawrul Huq, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Professor Mian Lutfar Rahman, Advisor, Students Affairs.

Members of BUBT Trust, teachers, students, members of Alumni Association, Officials and staffs participated in the program.
